Thank you for considering Logos Academy Harrisburg for your student’s education. Listed below are steps to guide you through our admissions process.
Step 1. TOUR OUR SCHOOL: This is an opportunity for us to meet, and for you and your student to learn what makes Logos Academy Harrisburg unique. To schedule a tour, email the school at [email protected] or call our office at 717-412-0069.
Step 2. APPLY: Fill out our Admission Application online. There is a $30 admissions fee.
Step 3. ACADEMIC SCREENING/SHADOW DAY AND PARENT MEETING: We will contact you to schedule an academic screening assessment or shadow day for your student. An academic screening will help us determine if we have the resources needed to best serve your student and your student’s placement within the school. While the student is testing, parents and guardians will meet informally with our Assistant Head of School to discuss any additional student needs and our parent partnership expectations. During the summer, assessments are scheduled Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 2 pm. When school is in session, students may participate in a shadow day. During shadow days, your student will spend a full school day, 8:00am to 3pm, with one of our classes. The teacher your student is placed with will perform the academic screening during core instruction. Shadow days can be scheduled Monday through Friday. Check the academic calendar on our website for available days. Shadow days cannot be scheduled prior to completion of the application.
Step 4. ADMISSIONS DECISION AND ENROLLMENT: Our executive team will make all admissions decisions. If accepted, you will receive an acceptance letter and be prompted to complete our online enrollment packet which includes an online non-refundable enrollment fee of $80.
Step 5. PARENT/GUARDIAN ORIENTATION: During this in-person meeting, we will review our parent partnership expectations and additional school policies. You will be asked to sign a Parent Partnership Agreement.
